Christchurch CURTAINS! and Song Group

Since its formation in June 1996, CURTAINS! has taken an active part in over 130 acts of worship, concerts and revues. A core group of about 8 meets on a fortnightly basis, with a larger pool of actors and support crew (staging, lighting, props, etc.) available to draw upon from time to time.

Our material is largely drawn from published, scripture-based sketches, with those from the Riding Lights Theatre Company and Iona Community often featuring. Several of our performances have however, used home-grown material and we hope to encourage more script-writing from the group and the wider church in future.

New members (of any age) are always welcome, on a regular or ad hoc basis.
