| PRODUCTIONS: * History * The Old Geyser ----> from Neville Melluish * Parlour Game * Murder in the Air |
Our first attempt at a
longer performance was the production in March 1998 of
the one act, 1930s farce 'The Old Geyser' by John.J.
Melluish* as part of an evening of Christchurch
entertainment in aid of the Norton Church Fire Fund.
We raised the fantastic sum of £861.13 that will
be put towards re-tiling the Norton church roof. Action shots from the dress rehearsal at Norton!
Some novel warm-up exercises for the whole cast!
The Colonel believes the plumber is the doctor.
The Colonel tells his butler, John, to find the impudent 'doctor'.
Harry Smith tries to explain his intentions towards the Colonel's daughter, Dorothy.
Harry and Dorothy are reunited, as the butler, the plumber and the Colonel look on.
... plus many more too numerous to
mention here. Click here to read an email from the author's son. Check out the
1999 production *by permission of the publishers, Abel Heywood & Son Ltd., Manchester. |
