Well, it was a long time coming,
but CURTAINS! made it back to the Queen Mother Theatre in Hitchin in 2005 for a
two-night run of Dario Fo's "The Virtuous
Burglar".

"The
Virtuous Burglar" is a one-act farce set in 1950's
Italy. When a burglar breaks into the flat of a wealthy
town councillor he gets more than he bargained for. The
owner arrives home unexpectedly with his lover, and when
more surprise arrivals ensue the burglar finds himself
involved in a tangled web of deceit and whiskey.

numerous to mention here.
The evening was superbly supported by

Christchurch; not least from the Song Group and choir.
Songs and music were carefully chosen to fit in with the
overall themes of the "The Virtuous Burglar" to
make for a most enjoyable evening's entertainment.
